The Addicks whose first team play in the English Football League Championship have agreed to send an Under 23 team down to the Countryside Stadium on Tuesday 12th November for a friendly match against the Bears first team.
Their Football Academy is run by Steve Avory whose son Scott was a regular in the first team a few years back and we’re delighted that Steve has agreed to send a team down.
Currently there are 13 players in the top two divisions in England who started out at Charlton’s Academy, including players such as Joe Gomez, Jordan Cousins, Carl Jenkinson, Jonjo Shelvey and Harry Arter
So come along and watch tomorrow's football star's at The Countryside Stadium, where you can say "I saw him once playing against Broadbridge Heath".
Kick Off is at 7.15 and it will be great to see as many supporters there as possible to cheer on the players.
