Broadbridge Heath made the long midweek away trip to the Isle of Sheppey to face Sheppey United in the 10th Isthmian South East league game of the 26/27 Season
Heath made two changes to Saturday's staring 11 with Lewis Hyde being rested with a tight hamstring so Jay Richardson came in to replace him and Zac Young returned for Jack Church after a trip away.
Heath starting really well and had the majority of the possession in the early stages
Heath lost Mason Doughty through injury midway through the half with Pemi Yakubu coming on to replace him,
Heath went a goal behind just before half time when a cross from the left hand side was finished by the experienced Danny Leonard making his 200th appearance for the Club in the 44th minute.
Heath began the 2nd half with much more aggression and purpose and were rewarded in the 57th minute when a cross was fumbled by Earle and Yakubu was in place to finish from close range and bring the scores level 1-1.
Heath had a late winner ruled out for a very tight offside decision when a Ben Royall cross was converted by Brad Peters but the assistant came to Sheppey's rescue and the scores remained 1-1.
After the match Heath manger Chris Simmons said “the lads were really good tonight, it is a tough place to come, especially on a Tuesday night, but we had the majority of possession, more shots on target, we hit the cross bar and had a goal disallowed, a bit of luck or more quality in the final third and it would have been a deserved 3 points”.
