Next up for the Bears is a Pitching In Isthmian League Division One South East match when we welcome Faversham Town to the BodyMould Community Stadium on Tuesday 23rd September.
Faversham Town, nickname ‘The Lilywhites’, were crowned champions of the Southern Counties East League last season with promotion to the Isthmian League but the two sides did play each other in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup when, following a 0-0 home draw on the 31st August, Heath travelled to Faversham Town 3-days later and came away with a 3-1 win with goals from Tad Bromage, Kyle Sim and Louis Evans, whatever happened to them? Callum Davies scored a late consolation for the hosts in time-added on.
The Lilywhites have had a great start to life at Step 4 and currently sit in 3rd place in the division with 12 points after 6 matches. On Saturday they travelled to Erith Town and came away with a point in a 0-0 draw, their second goalless draw on the trot.
At the same time Heath were in action at home to Bedfont Sports Club in the Isuzu FA Trophy a game they won by 2-1 with goals scored by Elliott Romain, his first for the club and Zac Young.
