Next up for the Bears is a Pitching In Isthmian League, South East division match when we welcome VCD Athletic to the BodyMould Community Stadium on Saturday 1st November.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs with ‘The Vickers’ winning promotion at the end of last season via the play-offs from the Southern Counties East Premier Division finishing 2nd and 7 points behind champions Faversham Town.

No strangers to Step 4 football ‘The Vickers’ last spell at this level was in the 2022/23 season when they were relegated after losing a play-off match against their local rivals Phoenix Sports.

The side currently sit in 19th place with 10 points from 13 games played and have lost the last 5 league matches, most recently a 0-1 home loss to Merstham last Saturday but a couple of wins could see them move into mid-table and there’s a lot of football to play yet so we can expect a close game.
