Bears remain unbeaten in the league

Heath travelled to Cobham FC to play an inform AFC Croydon side because of issues with the newly laid Croydon pitch, Croydon came into the game in fine form, still in the FA Cup, three wins from three games in the league and are strong favourites for the play off's.

Heath also in good form were coming into the game confident but found themselves a goal down in 2 minutes after a very rare mistake from Hadfield, a weak effort from Reece Grant seemed to be comfortable for Hadfield but he got his angles wrong and Croydon took an early lead 1-0.
A buoyant Croydon were now trying to kill the game off and Heath were trying to settle and get into the game, on 15 minutes Heath had there first effort on goal when Matt Hay tried his luck from just outside the area, his shot just going wide of the Croydon post.
Heath were growing into the game and playing some great football but without really troubling Tangara in goal, Croydon were looking to extend there lead and Hadfield was forced into a great save midway through the 1st half and redeemed his earlier error to keep the score at 1-0, a high tempo and end to end half came to a close with Croydon still leading 1-0

Heath were caught napping right at the start of the 2nd half and were lucky that Grant only found the side netting but that was the wake up call they needed as they seemed to get going from there, on 50 minutes a great move ended with a good chance for Marino to equalise only to see his shot saved by Tangara.
Heath were now really pushing for an equaliser and the subs that had come on gave the even more energy, on 80 minutes a long range strike from Hay was saved again by Tangara, then only a minute later a free kick was lofted into the Croydon area and Zac Young was pulled back as he went for the ball and the Referee pointed to the spot, Zac young stepped up and gave Heath a deserved equaliser 1-1.

In the 85th Minute Kedwell was given a Red card after a high challenge on Adam Adam and Heath pushed for a winner but Croydon held firm and both sides were probably happy with a point after a good game by both sides.

After the match Heath manager Chris Simmons said “It was really tough going behind so early on against a really strong side to such a soft goal but the lads were fantastic afterwards, they kept there heads and worked there way into the game and played some of the best football i have seen from a BBH side and fully deserved at least a point, Croydon are a great side and will be right up there at the end of the Season "

Team: Hadfield, Staight, Terry, Marino, Lowery, Hyde (Frankland 60), Dowdell (Bejashvili 75), Napper (Andall Gibbons 65), Romain (Adam 80), Hay (Connell 75), Young.
