Next up for the Bears is an Emirates FA Cup, Extra-Preliminary Round match when we welcome Cobham FC to the BodyMould Community Stadium on Saturday 2nd August.

Despite being only 24 miles apart today’s fixture will be the first ever meeting of the two sides.

Cobham just missed out on promotion last season having finished in a playoff place in fourth, they then travelled to play Jersey Bulls in the playoffs on the 28th May where they were narrowly defeated by 2-1 in front of a crowd of 1,801 supporters, Patrick Murray scoring Cobham’s goal. They played their last match of their pre-season on Tuesday evening when they hosted a Fulham Under 18 side winning the game by 2-0, Murray was again on target, converting from the penalty spot on 15 minutes and they scored a second to make it 2-0 in the closing stages.
