The pitch at the Leisure centre has cut up really badly in recent weeks and after last Saturday's first team match against Eastbourne Town it looked worse than we've ever seen it before.

With the heavy rain continuing in the early part of the week the ground-staff were unable to get on the pitch until Friday and then the machinery got stuck in the mud. Where they dragged it off the pitch it has left deep tyre tracks so they had to abandon their pitch preparation efforts, as a result the pitch in its current state is considered unplayable.

Let's hope the fine weather today continues for a few more days.
