Broadbridge Heath U14 Girls Utd have been crowned league champions in their very first season representing the club — and they did it in style.
Finishing the campaign unbeaten, the girls secured an outstanding record of 12 wins and 2 draws, capping off a remarkable season with an emphatic 5-2 victory over Worthing Town Purple to seal the title.
It has been a season defined by resilience, teamwork and determination, with the squad consistently showing incredible spirit throughout the year.
Manager Alice Partridge praised the team’s commitment and character:
“We couldn’t be more proud of the girls. Their fight and determination this season has been fantastic. Even at times turning up to games with the bare 11 players, their momentum and attitude never stopped. They’ve fully deserved this achievement.”
The success didn’t stop there for the young Bears. Just last weekend, the girls also finished runners-up in the SCWGFL League Cup, narrowly missing out against Premiership champions Withdean Galaxy.
To complete an unbeaten league-winning season while also reaching a cup final is a huge achievement and a testament to the hard work and togetherness within the squad.
As the team prepares to step up into the U15 age group next season, they are now looking to strengthen the squad with a few new additions. Any experienced players interested in joining this exciting and successful team are encouraged to get in touch today.
A huge congratulations to all the players, coaches and supporters on a brilliant season for Broadbridge Heath U14 Girls Utd.
