Next Up for The Bears is the visit of newly promoted Alfold Football Club on Tuesday 20th August.
The visitors have had a superb couple of years rising from the lower levels of Division 2, into senior football and then promotion at their first attempt to the SCFL Premier Division, a great achievement by joint managers Jack and Matt Munday.
Things have continued well for the Fold this season as well, still unbeaten after 3 games with 2 wins and a draw and currently sitting in fourth place in the division, so we can expect a tough game on Tuesday against many former Heath players expected to line-up against us including former Club Captain and a fans favourite Andy Howard, Shaun Findlay, Joe Holvey, Martin Mutungi, Devon Fender, Chris Copestake and one not quite so familiar in former youth player Johden DeMeyer.
Heath hope to have Tom Howard-Bold, Josh Tuck and Max Howell back, all three missed the trip to Saltdean on Saturday but Fraser Trigwell and Ranato Carvalho will miss the game through injury.
Kick Off is at 7.45 but the bar will be open from 6.00 onward so come along early and relax in our new club room and watch large screen TVs showing all SKY sports programmes, so come on down to The Countryside Stadium for a game not to be missed.
